2025 was our biggest year yet, and it’s clear that the fight to defend Canada’s Constitution is more important than ever.

We at the Canadian Constitution Foundation are delighted to unveil our annual Christmas-themed civil liberties report. Just like last year and the year before, we’re sorting our governments’ actions into two familiar categories: Naughty and Nice.

While this report comes wrapped in a bit of holiday cheer, make no mistake: in the year ahead, we’ll be holding these governments accountable for the choices they’ve made.
