Bizarre restrictions on consumers and businesses are evident around the world. Why are we surprised that it’s happening here in Canada too?
Example? Laws prevent you from doing business or working in the same sectors in other provinces. And Canadians can’t trade freely in our own country. Canadians can’t even bring some legally purchased goods from one province to another. Aren’t we all Canadians?
Your donation to the Canadian Constitution Foundation funds our legal battles and campaigns against such nonsense. Our country’s founders wanted Canada to be one country and one market. Donate today.
Your donation supports our team of talented lawyers fighting to defend our constitutional rights and freedoms, and educational work to ensure respect for our Canadian tradition of freedom and the rule of law. We rely on tax-deductible donations from passionate supporters like yourself to carry out our charitable education and legal work. We do not receive any government financial support. Official tax receipts issued for donations received of $25 or more. Learn more about our cases here.
The CCF is a registered charity. Donations to the CCF are used to support all of our charitable activities and operations unless specifically earmarked on their face or by accompanying written message indicating they are to be used to support a specific case or project. Donations earmarked for a specific case or project will be allocated to pay for legal fees and costs related to that case or project and to the CCF’s costs associated with overseeing, managing, and communicating with respect to that case or project.
While the CCF will allocate earmarked funds received accordingly, for a number of reasons, including the unpredictability of litigation, it is possible that some earmarked funds may remain unspent at the conclusion of a case or project. If at the conclusion of a case or project there are earmarked funds remaining, those funds may be allocated to the CCF’s other charitable activities and operations in our sole discretion.
Our charitable registration number is: 86617 6654 RR0001. The CCF is also registered as a 501(c)(3) public charity with the US Internal Revenue Agency and able to issue U.S. receipts.
