Unconstitutional interprovincial travel bans prevent kids from going to school

The “Atlantic Bubble” is becoming a notorious term in 2020 as premiers in Atlantic Canada continue to enforce provincial rules preventing other Canadians from entering many of the region’s provinces. Just recently, the New Brunswick government has informed a Mi’gmaq Nation located just over the border in Quebec that their students are no longer welcome to attend their high school in New Brunswick.

The CCF has received numerous emails and letters from concerned Canadians being stopped at provincial borders. These restrictions to travel have real costs for many remote communities who rely on out-of-province travel for access to essential goods and services.
