On February 18, we at the Canadian Constitution Foundation intervened in the case R v Singer at the Supreme Court of Canada. The case is about the “implied license” – the ability to enter private property without because there is an implied license to knock. What are the limits of this doctrine, and are police trying to stretch it too far? Christine explains the CCF’s position in this case.
